Local Elections notes:
The 2008 Elbert County Board of County Commissioner election covers all three seats, Districts 1, 2 and 3. Because Elbert County's population base is under 75,000, these elections are "at large", meaning each voter will be voting for the Commissioner of their choice in all three districts.
*
There will be no Elbert County Water Advisory Board Meeting on Tuesday, September 16th. There are no referrals this week, and several members will not be able to make the meeting.
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, 2008.
