As in past years, we will be having a Survivor/Caregiver dinner, followed by an opening ceremony, Survivor Lap, a Luminary Ceremony followed by an evening of walking and raising money for the American Cancer Society. The Elbert Woman's Club holds its monthly all-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast on the fourth Sunday of each month. 2011 breakfasts will be held each month except April and Dec. Breakfast is at the Russell Gates Mercantile Community Hall from 8a-1pm. Cost is $6 adults/$3 children. Biscuits and gravy, ham, eggs, pancakes, sausage, coffee/tea and orange drink are included. Proceeds support renovation and maintenance of the Hall, as well as other Club community activities. The Hall is located on Elbert Road and built in 1906. The Elbert Woman's Club has provided support to the Elbert community since 1929.
