National Crime Victims Rights Week - April 18th through April 23rd - Each April since 1981, OVC has helped lead communities throughout the country in their annual observances of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) by promoting victims’ rights and honoring crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf. THE GABRIEL FOUNDATION 's VOLUNTEER WORK DAY is scheduled for Saturday, May 8th from 9 AM - 3 PM. This will be the day when we don our work gloves, grab ladders, pliers, rakes and trash bags, and give a face lift to all of the outside flights. The flights need to be cleaned out, cargo ropes repaired, toys replenished/replaced. With good, warm weather, it's a wonderful way to get some sunshine and exercise and meet new neighbors and friends. Lunch/beverages will be provided.
