EXERCISE VOLUNTEER VICTIMS NEEDED! Elbert County is planning for and holding a mass casualty exercise on Saturday, May 9th, at the Elbert County Fairgrounds. The Office of Emergency Management is seeking 70 victim volunteers for the countywide exercise. Emergency Medical personnel will determine the victims ‘injuries’ and ‘moulage’ victims accordingly, beginning at 8am Saturday morning at the Exhibit Building. 1st Annual Elizabeth Schools Community Fair

The clinic is a free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney, who are going through Dissolution of Marriage, Legal Separation or Post-Decree cases. Parties will be assisted on a first-come, first served basis, and will be helped with filling out forms and general information on divorce and post-decree procedures and process.

ElizaBash Street Festival

The street will be pedestrian only for the Elizabeth Stampede Parade at 10 AM, and the festival starting at 11 AM. If you are interested in hosting a booth at the festival, sizes are 10 x 10 for $40, and 10 x 20 for $70, with a few 5 x 10 spots for $25. Non-profit-only organizations will receive a free 10 x 10 booth. A tent and cinder blocks due to wind are suggested, as Elbert County weather can be changeable. Booths, money collected and taxes owed are the responsibility of the booth holder - including having a state license and filing a special events application.
