The Elbert County Board of County Commissioners is reorganizing their calendar to hold two BOCC meetings each month rather than four. They are planning to hold meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, though additional meetings may be called as needed. Meetings added will be publicized and the Agenda will be posted for public viewing on the website. The Board intends to hold schedule their meetings for a single session starting at 9 AM, and when necessary, an afternoon session will be included. The resulting efficiency may assist in cutting costs to the county, and increase the likelihood of Elbert County residents taking time out from work to attend meetings of interest.
