Breakfast is at the Russell Gates Mercantile Community Hall from 8a-1pm. Cost is $6 adults/$3 children. Biscuits and gravy, ham, eggs, pancakes, sausage, coffee/tea and orange drink are included. Proceeds support renovation and maintenance of the Hall, as well as other Club community activities. The Hall is located on Elbert Road and built in 1906. The Elbert Woman's Club has provided support to the Elbert community since 1929.

The free tax help will be held every other Wednesday starting January 19th through April 13th at the Simla Branch Library. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This service is available to taxpayers in Elbert, Cheyenne, Kit Carson, and Lincoln counties.
