2011 Seedling Tree Program Begins! Order Forms become available on the Conservation Districts Websites. Orders are accepted November, 2010 through Mid March, 2011. The Kiowa, Agate and Double El Conservation Districts are able to sell these trees in cooperation with the Colorado State Forest Service Nursery. These trees are to be planted for conservation purposes such as windbreaks, snow fences, wildlife habitat, erosion control and reforestation. (The annual Small Acreage Landowner Seminar, http://www.kiowacd.org/, will be Saturday, October 30th, & the Windbreak Design Assistant Workshop will be 12/1/2010. See below for details) Landowners preorder and pay for the trees during the order window (November through Mid March). Trees are distributed early April in time for spring planting.
