Elbert County Health & Environment's 2010 Seasonal Flu Vaccination Clinics have begun. The walk in clinics take place on Tuesdays, from 8 AM to Noon and 1:30 PM to 4 PM, as follows: December 14th and 21st. Appointments are available by special request. Contact 303-621-3144 for appointments or more information. Please note: all clinic dates are subject to vaccine availability. Costs: Adult flu, $20; Pneumonia, $50; kids 6 months through 18 years, $14. Medicare with card, the ECHE will file.

Celebrate Christmas - High Plains Singers Annual Concert

Director John Dahm has led this group of enthusiastic and talented singers for nearly fifteen years, putting on two concerts a year, one in December and one in May. This local chorale group is composed of folks of all ages, from teens to octogenarians, who enjoy the challenge of music and the company of each other. As a not-for-profit group, they rely on the generosity of local businesses and individuals to cover their expenses, and truly appreciate the support of the community. Tickets: Adults, $8, Seniors/Veterans/Students, $6, and, for children under 12 years old, admission is free. Pre-concert tickets are available at Bank of Choice in Elizabeth and Kiowa, and at Grumpy's Coffee.
