For those of us who are registered as either a Republican or Democrat voter, we should be expecting our mail-in ballots for the 2010 Primary Election to begin arriving this week. They typically begin mailing July 11th, or 30 days before the election, so some may have already received your ballots. Please take the time to study the candidates and to vote. Remember, the ballots must be received by the Elbert County Elections office no later than 7 PM on Tuesday, August 11th to be counted.

Ray Bonneville could be called a traveling blues troubadour. His music is inspired by his travels across this country and across the world. His songs spin well-weathered tales from the rough and tumble road. He plays a percussive style guitar that he accompanies with a dramatic harmonica and a steady foot stomp. Bonneville has shared the bill with such blues legends as B.B. King, Muddy Waters, J.J. Cale and Robert Cray. He won the prestigious Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) for his third album Gust of Wind. His fourth release, Rough Luck, was also nominated for the coveted award. Ray Bonneville has received rave reviews from blues, jazz and roots critics alike, and now he is bringing his one-man-band to Coyote Creek Concerts!
