Elbert County Fiber Friends

Usually held the first Thursday of the month, this is a group of people who are interested in anything to do with fiber, i.e. spinning, knitting, crocheting, locker hooking, weaving; or raising the animals that produce fiber, i.e. goats, sheep, rabbits, yaks, alpacas, llamas or buffalo. The Elbert County Office of Emergency Management is sponsoring a Ham Radio Class in its efforts to bring in new emergency communications minded hams to work with Emergency Management, in support of the Amateur Radio Emergency Service for Elbert County.
