An informational meeting is planned at the Clubhouse for October 7, at 7:00 p.m. This meeting will include a presentation by Kevin Rein of the Colorado Division of Water Resources, followed by Gary Crosby of the law firm Petrock and Fendel. This meeting has been organized by April Osborne and other interested residents. April invites interested neighbors to attend, although there is limited seating.

Near Debate

The Democratic Candidates for Board of County Commissioners, Districts 1 and 3, and the write in candidate for District 2, will host a Near-Debate. Because the Republican candidates will not debate, and have scheduled their Meet the Candidates for the same night, we have extended our Town Hall Meeting schedule to 6 PM to 11PM. This will allow citizens to ask their questions of their candidates and then travel down Highway 86 to the other meeting to ask the same questions of their other candidates. This is as near to a debate as it appears we will get. Coffee and refreshments will be provided. Drive carefully.

State Initiative Town Hall Meeting

A Town Hall style meeting to discuss the pros and cons of the initiatives that appear on the 2008 ballot will be hosted by the Democratic Candidates for Board of County Commissioners. This discussion replaces the final Meet the Candidates that had been scheduled when the Debates were canceled. Moderators will be a representative of the Republican and the Democratic Parties. Details will be updated as the structure is finalized.

Quilt for a Day Teamwork Challenge

Weed Control Seminar
